Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world.  There is little government help for any sort  of disability.  Many people live in villages that are as much as a days walk from a road, let alone  a school, health centre or hospital.   Although some parents are concerned about their children,  they have to work the land in order just to survive and are unable to cope with looking after  disabled children.  In addition, these disabilities and sometimes regarded as divine retribution  and the children are may even be abandoned. or treated like animals.   The MCRC was  established out of a need to help these children, attempting to provide for them the chance at a  better life.   And it would be wonderful if you could help in some small way.     Please read on...
